A Californian goldmine, 1851. Earth tremors and cave-ins. Tunnels are collapsing by the hour. Mining is hazardous. If rats or snakes don't bite ya, likely rocks will bust open your head instead.  
 

Meanwhile, Papa Clayton, the notorious robber, stalks the tunnels.
 

Each player represents a goldminer working claims down an ever-shifting gold mine. The player with the most gold nuggets (gn) at the end of the game is the winner.
